LESS FREQUENT LAUNDRY DAYS? YAAAS PLEASE!

Day2

Our new fave product, Day2, is a dry wash spray that lets millennials postpone washing their clothes. Launched in the UK last month, it removes wrinkles, softens fabric and lifts odors in minutes - and there are options specifically for delicates and denim, too. Think dry shampoo, but for your clothes! Unilever says their main inspiration for the product was an insight that 60% of millennials have some sort of 'chairdrobe' (aka a chair in your room where you throw all of your not dirty, but not exactly clean, clothes), and knowing that this group also seeks convenience without compromise. WHEN YOUR SPORTS BRA GETS POLITICAL, YOU KNOW IT'S BAD

facebook slaps nike reebok papa johns political tag

Facebook has got its political wires crossed. It's AI has been caught flagging ads due to 'political policy breaches' when they're clearly not – for example, a simple Reebok ad about a sports bra. But it's not just Reebok who's fallen prey to Facebook's strange algorithm; Nike and Papa John's have also suffered from their ads being taken down in error. Facebook did release a statement that these ads were being mistaking labelled, and that they're working to resolve the problem. While it appears that Facebook's AI is erring on the side of caution when flagging ads deemed of political nature, it's been criticised of being overly aggressive - specifically towards social justice causes, LGBTQ and environmental topics. How Facebook continues to monitor political posts will be high on the agenda and under huge scrutiny globally. Stay tuned. READ MORE >

WE LOVE NOODLES – BUT NOT THAT MUCH...!

cup noodles top ramen merchandise just launched a limited edition line for super fans

You only have to walk through a Topshop or Urban Outfitters to see a plethora of graphic t-shirts emblazoned with much loved brands – Pepsi, 7UP, Kodak, to name a few. Anya Hindmarch even made a designer label out of them! Inspired by their success, it seems like any brand with a bit of fan love can jump on the band wagon. Well, look no further than Cup Noodles! Ever found yourself thinking, 'I really want a Cup Noodle t-shirt, pillow, neon sign and mug?' – we thought not. That being said, we can see college students embracing the irony of the product they're looked down upon for surviving on becoming a fashionable item. And you've only got to look as far as Justin Bieber to see that weird fashion is in right now…so, perhaps this is actually a genius move? READ MORE >
